DANUFIL^® QR was specially developed for use in disinfectant wipes. Due to negative cellulose charges, cotton and normal viscose bind up to 80 % of so-called “quats” (quaternary ammonium compounds – a common disinfectant), thus significantly reducing its disinfecting effect.

The positively charged Danufil QR reduces this effect to less than 10 %, thereby also enabling the use of viscose, which thanks to its softness and moisture absorption is already a widely used raw material for other hygiene and medical products.
